Where do you feel safest?
Where do you feel most secure?
Where do you feel enveloped by a love that will endure?
Is it inside a fortress, with solid walls of stone?
Is it inside your cozy, heated home?
I sit in my small hut now, beneath a velvet sky
With walls that sway so softly against the gusts outside
It might be slightly chilly
It might be small and damp
But these walls provide all that a fortress can’t
In a world of uncertainty
With seen and unseen threats
It’s within these four small sukkah walls
That I feel safest yet
